The Auge restaurant, in Porto Palácio Hotel, is located on Avenida da Boavista. This new space is the result of a remodelling project by the Project Management, Architecture, and Interior Design team from Sonae.

Modernity, lighting, and comfort were the basic guidelines for this project. The team chose three references from the Innovus Collection: Brushed Copper (L506), Oxyde Brass (F2284) and Urbanstone Clay (F2281). “We took into account the fact that this is a modern and sophisticated place, located in a five-star hotel, where the choice of materials was fundamental in order to highlight it and create a different dynamic to set it apart from the other areas”, said Inês Coelho, the architect in charge of the project. 

Apart from the restaurant, the Auge also has a bar area, more popular at night-time, geared more towards fun and relaxation, and a cellar, another attraction. 

The glass façade gives the entire area of intervention a visual link to Porto City, so “lighting played a very important role in the atmosphere we wanted to provide to the customer”. 

And the mission was accomplished: “We were able to provide a welcoming space where people feel good, comfortable, and that they will want to keep coming back to”.
