Sercotel Hotel Parque is located in the heart of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, close to the shopping area and the historic center of the city. It is a historic and emblematic building dating from 1943, whose comprehensive reform was carried out in 2020 by "Romera y Ruiz Arquitectos".
Those responsible for the project adapted the design to the new functional and energy efficiency requirements, modernizing all the spaces, but trying to preserve the rationalist style and the spirit of the original projection by the architect Miguel Martin Fernández de la Torre.
The 102 rooms were completely renovated using Floover on the floor, on the walls and on the furniture, made to measure, with vinyl reference 1202. It is a project where the Floover360 Method can be seen reflected, projecting the creative idea of the designers.
Floover 1809 vinyl flooring was also installed in the common areas, such as the cafeteria, the entrance hall, the gym and the rooms for events and meetings.
The project was completed with Floover Woven woven vinyl on the floors and walls of the corridors and in the elevators. The chosen references were colors with very neutral tones: 4010, 4006 and 1209-10.
The result of this project is an elegant and timeless atmosphere, which is achieved thanks to the neutral color tones, combined with vegetal colors in the upholstery. The headboards of the beds must be highlighted, where an image of the original plans of the renowned architect of the building has been placed
