The brand expands its catalogue with a new solution made from PureBase, a composite material incorporating recycled components and offering a wide range of customisation options for bathroom projects.
Villeroy & Boch expands its bathroom equipment range with Ecora, a new shower tray that combines material innovation, minimalist design and responsible use of resources. Designed to integrate seamlessly into different interior styles, it meets the needs of both new-build and renovation projects.
One of its main innovations is PureBase, a composite material made from recycled marble granules, calcium carbonate and recovered production surplus. Its composition contains approximately 45% less resin than conventional acrylic shower trays and is free from fibreglass. In addition, waste generated during manufacturing is reused in new products, supporting a circular production model.
In terms of design, Ecora features an ultra-slim profile of just 35 mm and a rimless surface, allowing it to blend seamlessly into the bathroom environment. It also incorporates a flush-fitting oval drain cover in the same colour as the shower tray, with a drainage capacity of approximately 48 litres per minute.

The collection offers 20 sizes, ranging from 80 × 80 to 180 × 100 cm, and is available in four colours — Alpine White, Stone White, Anthracite and Almond — and three finishes: gloss, textured and matt. Its versatility is further enhanced by different installation options, including flush-to-floor and raised installation, as well as the possibility of adjusting its dimensions on site to suit specific layouts.
Thanks to its resistance to light and chemicals, Ecora offers a durable solution for bathroom spaces seeking to combine functionality and aesthetics. It can also be paired with Villeroy & Boch's Skyla collection to create environments with a cohesive visual identity.
With this launch, Villeroy & Boch reinforces its commitment to bathroom design that brings together quality, innovation and sustainability, paying particular attention to both the user experience and the lifecycle of materials.
