On July 2nd, we received the award for Best Lighting Design at the Fuera de Serie Design and Innovation Awards 2024, presented by Fuera de Serie magazine. This recognition was for our Tierra, Mar y Aire collection, designed by Héctor Serrano, noted for its sustainable and innovative approach.
The Fuera de Serie Awards are a benchmark in design and architecture, celebrating innovation and talent. This year's ceremony was hosted by Elena Salamanca from Antena 3 Noticias, and the jury included experts such as Mario Ruiz, Álvaro Matías, Teresa Herrero, Elena Goded, Mariajo Díez, and Ana Luengo. Sandra Fernández, the magazine's coordinator, highlighted the jury's meticulous evaluation of each nomination.
Héctor Serrano and Jennifer Nieto from Faro Barcelona received the award from illustrator Ana Jarén, who created a print interpreting the collection, adding a creative touch to the prize.
Our Tierra, Mar y Aire collection, awarded in the Lighting category, is a commitment to sustainability, demonstrating that circularity and eco-design are essential for a greener future. Inspired by natural elements and made from recycled materials, the collection uses 3D printing to achieve digitally crafted finishes. During his speech, Héctor Serrano emphasized the importance of 3D printing in industrial production and Faro Barcelona's commitment to sustainability.
The Fuera de Serie recognition reaffirms our commitment to sustainable and innovative design. At Faro Barcelona, we believe in honest and accessible design, and Tierra, Mar y Aire represents this commitment. We thank everyone who joins us on this journey and Fuera de Serie magazine for this special recognition.
